Grace Christian Counseling Center
Grace Christian Counseling Center (G.C.C.C.) is a ministry of Crawford Street United Methodist, First Presbyterian, Holy Trinity and other churches in the area. Their goal is to provide professional counseling services for any person, regardless of income.
Dr. Walter Frazier began the G.C.C.C. in September of 1998. Located in the large tudor style home next door to Crawford Street UMC sanctuary, G.C.C.C. has grown to include eight counselors to help meet the needs of people in our area. There are also offices in Port Gibson and Canton. G.C.C.C. also has TeleMental Health services available.

Walter has been the Executive Director of the Grace Christian Counseling Center since opening the service in September of 1998. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. Walter is also a Board Approved Supervisors for LPCs. He is an Ordained United Methodist Minister, and he recently completed his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University. He is a faculty member in the Psychology and Counseling Department at Mississippi College. Walter is a past-president of the Mississippi Licensed Professional Counselors Association, and serves as the Professional Issues Chair for the American Mental Health Counselors Association. In 2006, Walter received the American Mental Health Counselors Association’s Counselor of the Year, and the Mississippi Licensed Professional Counselors Association’s award from Licensed Professional Counselor of the Year.
