Pathways of Adventure to the Christian Kingdom (P.A.C.K.) is the name we have given our Sunday School program for elementary aged children (1st – 6th grade) and our Pre-K children (ages 3-5). We use a Cokesbury curriculum, Deep Blue, as well as a curriculum called 52 Bible Lessons when planning lessons for our children every Sunday. Children are grouped into classes based on their grades in school.
Children in the nursery (two years of age and younger) participate in a short lesson each Sunday from the Deep Blue curriculum. Pamphlets with weekly home to church connections are sent home with the children.
Children ages three to five years old attend worship with their families for a little while then are dismissed to Children’s Church after the Children’s Sermon. While there, they participate in a short Bible lesson then enjoy reading and playing in centers with friends.
